Elite Martial Arts LLC Interview

By Interviewer at 01/15/09 07:36

Name of your website?

Elite Martial Arts LLC

Your name?

David Zacker

Your Location (city, etc)

Walled Lake

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Personal Instruction by Grand Master David A. Zacker 8th degree blackbelt. You will learn a complete system of martial arts including hidden techniques that were lost when martial arts was westernized and watered down by large chain schools. Grand Master Zacker's focus is on helping students overcome obstacles and reach goals to be successful in life. He also works with special needs kids who have adhd and autism.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

This is a brand new martial arts school that is opening up and wanted to promote it.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

www.michigantsd.com In 2005

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The website name is same as business but had to alter it a bit because the exact domain that we wanted was not available.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We focus on life success instead of just self defense and karate that is just kicking and punching.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I have invested much of my own money over the last several years of maintiaining a facility to teach out of. It has been financially draining and would like this new venture to change things around. True success is to see the accomplishments of my students and how the martial arts lifestyle and training has changed thier lives for the better and helped them to succeed.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would open a larger martial arts school and work more with special needs children and kids who want to learn martial arts but couldn't afford it..

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Waiting for the building owner to resolve his issues with the utility company to get the lights and gas on in the building that was leased.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The local economy

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

google listings and link programs

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

more time than expected

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

two weeks and will run it as long as business stays open

What training programs do you offer?

Instruction personally taught by Grand Master Zacker. This is very rare to train directly under an 8th degree black belt. There are programs for children ages 3 and up and for adults as well. In addition private training is also available and classes for special needs children.

What is your website address?
