UFC may have brought mixed martial arts to the rest of the world, but surely, certain prominent people in the field have been teaching the art way before that.
Among them Adriano Emperado, who is considered to be one of the founders of the martial art named Kajukenbo. He has been teaching MMA since the 1940's.
