It's frustrating that, even though mixed martial arts is already legal in 40 other states, it remains as an illegal sport in the state of New York.
What's worse is that legislation to legalize this sport is currently delayed due to power struggles in Albany. Professionals who practice MMA will be disappointed once they realize that they are not yet eligible to play in the state.
